ARTICLE
2 –
PURPOSE


The primary aim and purpose of the Road Legends Truck Club are as
follows:


1. To bring together friends and families interested in Chevy
trucks and related organized events....

2.To promote safety and the sane use of outdoors with the
observance of all State and National vehicle laws.....

3. To periodically participate and attend truck/car shows, truck
runs, road trips, cruise-ins, club displays of vehicles, equipment and
recreational activities for the show of vehicle sport. This is to also
include any charitable events.....


4. To annually help and assist in non-profit Truck Club
events....

5.To establish and maintain our club website for truck enthusiasts to   view information about our club.

ARTICLE

3 - OBSERVANCE OF LAWS


1.  All appointed officers and approved members will be required to
abide by the written by-laws, which will be the official law of this truck club.

2. Club Officers are required to strongly enforce written By-Laws
at all times.....

3. Each approved member is required to abide and follow all rules
and regulations listed herein.....

4. All approved members will be required to sign the By-Law
acknowledgement form at time of new membership.....

5. Every petitioning prospect is required to follow the written
Truck Club By-Laws.....

6. Copies of the By-Laws are made available to all members and
petitioning prospects through appointed officers.....

7. Rule changes/revisions to the By-Laws can only be instated with said
permission by members of the club. a vote of all proposed
changes must reflect the original intention of  the club.


A majority vote must be reached to become an effective
law.....

4 - MEMBERSHIP....

Membership can be achieved through the following requirements:

1. Prospecting members are required to attend three(3)
consecutive meetings and/or events, which will be considered a “probationary
period.”....


2 .Prospecting members will be granted authorized membership once
he/she has passed the probationary period .A 100% approval vote by
all petitioning officers must be reached in order to grant
membership.....

3. The prospecting member’s vehicle must meet the required vehicle
 standards to be officially logoed.....

A. Full / Active membership requires the following:


1. The member’s vehicle must remain with and/or above standards.


2.  Meetings and event s attendance is mandatory unless for medical or work reason or excused by the president.

3. Enjoys all rights, benefits privileges of membership.

4 – MEMBERSHIP cont;

B. Inactive Membership:  Not actively involved, passive, idle, poor attendance to meetings, activities without valid cause.

 Membership fee and monthly dues are non-refundable.

C. Membership can be terminated for the following reasons:

1. Presidents may terminate membership upon a conflict, wrongdoing,
 lack of attendance, or any other justified reason.

2. Majority vote by members upon a member for a justified reason may jeopardize membership and or be terminated from the club.

 

D. Other Types of Members:

ALUMNI MEMBER

Is a member who was an Active member for a period of at least 5 years and who may no longer play an active role in the club but wants to remain a member.

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Is a person who has a desire to associate with the club but does not desire to be an active members. Often, Active Members of other clubs will choose to become an associate member of  “Road Legends”

 

HONORARY MEMBER

An Honorary Member is someone who the Club cares to honor for their service, support and participation with the Club or the community.

 

LIFETIME MEMBER

After 10 cumulative years of active membership in ROAD LEGENDS and service to the Club, a Full/Active Member in good standing may be voted into Life Membership by the members of the club.

ARTICLE
5 - VEHICLE MODIFICATION STANDARDS....

The following rules apply to a members’ vehicle:

 

1.   Body part replacement and repair, suspension, aftermarket wheels, etc. in order to become a prospect.

Grandfathered in: Members that have been in the club prior to new by-laws being established are not required

         A.  Active work on truck such as:

2.   All vehicles must resemble standard vehicle of the era if under construction, no vehicles beyond the year of 1999 are approved


3 .All vehicles deemed worthy will have a logo on their vehicle

4. All vehicles will need to be clean at time of meetings or events


5. Meeting requirements are what logo worthy vehicles should display

 

ARTICLE:

6 - VOTING....

The club will vote upon such items as follows:

1. New member prospects.


2. New officers - to be voted on when necessary.


3. Current members -for termination of membership – when necessary.


4. Voting will be conducted by either verbal or electronic ballots

ARTICLE:
7 - GENERAL RULES....

    1.   Any conflicts between members will be dealt with by each other.
         If the conflict meets no resolution, club officers will step in and deal with the conflict

    2.  Members are required to establish a line between club business
         and non-club business.....


   
3.  No negative attitudes will be accepted.....

   
4.  Probation and/or termination will be given for absenteeism,
         tardiness, lack of interest, any justified reason of matter, etc
....

 

    5.  A monthly financial statement will be presented by the treasure.  

         This report will reflect APPROVE transactions and purchase(s)

          for Road Legends CTC.

 

                     6.   All donations in support of Road Legends CTC can be made at

                   Farmers Merchant Bank under the name Road Legends CTC.

 

ARTICLE
8 - RULES ASSOCIATED WITH TRUCK CRUISE/ROLL IN

    1. No jumping out of line, except for emergencies.....

    2. If club does not leave as group, highest position officer will
        lead the established group.....

   3. Headlights must be on while in a caravan status
